This release brings improved security for OTP authentication, stronger support for the OAuth2 Device Flow, and routine technical upgrades.

New Features and Improvements

• Quota Protection for OTP Authentication
  Quota protections have been introduced for OTP delivery via email and SMS. This improvement allows to strengthen authentication security and prevent abuse by limiting excessive requests.

• ID Token Support in OAuth2 Device Flow
  The OAuth2 Device Flow now supports the generation of ID tokens, expanding its compatibility and usefulness for client applications.

Patches and Performance Enhancements

• Improved Error Handling in OAuth2 Device Flow
  Users now receive a clear error message if they enter a non-existent user code during the device authorization process.

• Fix for Step-Up Authentication in Device Flow
  Resolved an issue where step-up authentication was not functioning correctly in the OAuth2 Device Flow.
